Nothing is better than an evening of swimming with friends in the summer! During open swim, participants will have the opportunity to play water games, partake in group exercises or simply enjoy free swim time with peers. The choice is yours!

Please come dressed in a labeled swimsuit and towel with a change of clothes and plan to meet at the front of the Hidden Creek locker rooms.
Increase social interaction and cooperation.
Enhance confidence in the water. s

Age: 16 and up Min / Max: 6 / 12 Location: Watts Park, Glencoe
Try your hand at bocce! Gator athletes will learn how to play the game of bocce, learn the rules, and learn different strategies to be applied during competition. Athletes will work on skill development and practice this season.

In 2025, there will be no Special Olympics competitions for bocce due to Special Olympics Illinois restructuring. Special Olympics bocce competitions will resume in 2026.
Enhance upper extremity gross motor skills and hand-eye coordination through throwing the ball while improving attention and concentration by targeting a point. s
Learn bocce rules and skills while developing problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
