Summer of Soccer 2026 | Seite 3

GREETINGS!

Whether you’ re from Evanston, Illinois, or Edinburgh, Scotland; Omaha, Nebraska, or Oslo, Norway, it is an exciting time to be here during the Rhode Island Summer of Soccer.
We are a creative, diverse and passionate state. We love our culture, our arts, our food and soccer. As chairman of Ocean State 2026, I am excited to open the doors to our community and introduce you to everything we have to offer— native culinary delights like coffee milk and Del’ s lemonade, festivals like the Day of Portugal and the Historic Bristol Fourth of July Parade, and soccer games at Centreville Bank Stadium and the Seaside Classic in South County.
We hope that you will join in big community soccer celebrations while staying long enough to also enjoy the solitude and beauty of our vast natural resources. Rent a bike on Block Island, walk along Newport’ s famed Cliff Walk, enjoy a cool hike along a tree-lined path in West Greenwich’ s Arcadia Management Area, paddleboard in Narragansett, kayak down the Blackstone River or take a sunset cruise in Warren. Rhode Island has so much to offer within a compact geography.
Please scan the QR code and visit our Summer of Soccer website during your visit. Ask a concierge or stop by a visitor center. We are all poised and ready to help you find an itinerary that suits your interests.
Wishing you an amazing and eventful 39 days as you enjoy the Rhode Island Summer of Soccer.
