We started the day off by ariving at SLAS campus and boarding the bus to YCIS Puxi campus . We were greeted by the friendly YCIS olympiad attenders . They lead us to their indoor gym where we introduced each other and got to know more about this year ’ s math olympiad . We first changed into the SISMC t-shirts and packed our new backpacks . After we took an individual test , we had some snacks and then we played a fun round of duel games . I made lots of new friends there as I played with students from various schools .
Then we went to the cafeteria for a nice lunch . The cafeteria was vast and had great food . I got noodles , YCIS printed cookies , and a salad from the salad bar . After that , we returned to play a game of ‘ Tires of Hanoi ’ and a magnetic darts game . Both of them included us running around and moving . We went back to the gym and had some rest . We went on to solve some individual MCQ ’ s which was pretty hard . After that I got to talk to more students from different schools including SAS , Harrow International School , YCIS pudong , Dulwich College , Shanghai Pudong and Wellington College International Shanghai .
