Last Words On My Internship

My internship had me doing everything and anything in the office. I was officially the communications intern, but since I was also the ONLY intern in our office I was asked to help out with a variety of things. From entering checks to working on twitter and Facebook to running errands to working on donor relations I did every job in the office. It definitely kept my internship interesting and gave me a huge list of new skills to add to my resume. Unfortunately I can’t discuss many of the projects I worked on due to confidentiality. But by the end of my internship I really truly was a member of Team Boehner. I worked through the 8am meetings with them, rode the ebbs and flows of the session schedule, and in the end was sad to leave. I will miss everyone I met, but know that the next time I am in D.C. I can always stop by and see them all. No matter where I go in life, I will always have my Team Boehner family.

It's sad for me to leave my "family", but I'm excited to see where the winds will take me. I have no definitive plan for my future, only a rough idea and a long list of items to check off my bucket list. Who knows what will happen and that unknown is what brings me the most excitement when I think about my future.
