Make a positive change by assisting in restoration efforts such as removing non-native plants or collecting seed. Please bring work gloves if you have them and wear sturdy shoes and long pants. Volunteers under 15 must participate with an adult. Registration is necessary. Email groverestoration @ glenviewparks. org for more information including availability.

Join us for a casual, colorful guided trail hike that encourages inclusivity, connection, and community in the great outdoors. Meet like-minded nature lovers as we explore the trails and highlight the rainbow of colors found in the natural world. Wear comfortable closed-toe shoes and dress for the weather— rainbow attire strongly encouraged! Free program; registration requested.

Sa, June 20 • 9:30-11 am
Learn to fish close to home at Lake Glenview with a fishing session guided by The Grove staff. Participants will learn how to bait a hook, cast a line, and handle a caught fish. Please bring your own fishing pole or borrow one of ours( limited supplies). Note: A license is required for anglers 16 + years old fishing in all Illinois waters and can be purchased online at dnr. illinois. gov.
