How many years have you lived in Glenview ? I ' ve lived in Glenview for 19 years .
Why did you choose to run for / serve as a Park Board Commissioner ? It was a great opportunity to give back to the community that ’ s given our family so much .
What has been the most rewarding part of serving on the Park Board ? Working with the Park District staff and my fellow commissioners . The Park District staff is filled with wonderful people who care about our community and want to deliver wonderful programs and services .
What is one thing you want Glenview Park District residents to know about the Park District ? It wasn ’ t until I got involved with the Park District that I recognized what a big part the Park District had played in our lives here . The Park District has truly been the glue that binds us to our community .

What ’ s something about you that not many people know ? I am generally outgoing with people I know , but I don ’ t feel as comfortable with people I don ’ t know . Working with the Park District has greatly expanded my comfort zone .
How many years have you lived in Glenview ? I have resided in Glenview for a little over a year now .
Why did you choose to run for / serve as a Park Board Commissioner ? Serving on the Glenview Park District Board seemed like the perfect way to support the community , values and programming that we love so much .
What has been the most rewarding part of serving on the Park Board ? Meeting all of the wonderful staff , executives and board members who help the Park District run so smoothly . I ’ m continuously impressed by their professionalism , experience , depth of knowledge and dedication .
What is one thing you want Glenview Park District residents to know about the Park District ?
The Ice Center is beautiful — one of Glenview Park District ’ s shining gems . Since my boys enjoy skating and hockey , I ' ve spent many evenings there admiring the facility ’ s beauty and the fantastic coaches / instructors .
What ’ s something about you that not many people know ? During my sophomore year at Northwestern University , I walked on to the women ’ s soccer team and played in the Big Ten Conference .
