Summertime in Rhode Island is simply incomparable , as most locals ( including this one !) will attest . Following last year ’ s lackluster summer season ( or , rather , lack thereof ), it ’ s safe to say many of us are especially eager to take full advantage of all the warm weather-primed opportunities this beautiful state has to offer . Fortunately , and finally , we can ! As of Memorial Day , the state gave businesses the greenlight to reopen at full capacity with no restrictions * for maximum fun in ( and out of ) the sun .
