Arts Camps YOUNG REMBRANDTS: IF YOU GIVE A MOUSE A COOKIE Innovation Camps BRICKS 4 KIDZ: JUNIOR ENGINEERS WITH LEGO BRICKS Young children will explore the world of author Laura Numeroff in this five- day workshop full of art and reading. Each day the class will read a different Laura Numeroff book, and afterwards, students will work on a drawing that incorporates one feature of the book they’ve enjoyed reading together. Campers will create wonderful drawings and bring their favorite stories to life by combining creativity and imagination! Our camp day will be filled with our LEGO® model plans designed by engineers and architects. Our LEGO® project kits motivate children by reinforcing STEM- based principles while enhancing self-esteem, improving fine motor skills, and teaching important classroom lessons such as organization and following directions. Our LEGO® models are either kid-powered or fully motorized. We will build vehicles, contraptions, inventions, animals, and much more.
