BRICKS 4 KIDZ: JUNIOR ENGINEERS WITH LEGO BRICKS
Young children will explore the world of author Laura Numeroff in this five-
day workshop full of art and reading. Each day the class will read a different
Laura Numeroff book, and afterwards, students will work on a drawing that
incorporates one feature of the book they’ve enjoyed reading together.
Campers will create wonderful drawings and bring their favorite stories to life
by combining creativity and imagination! Our camp day will be filled with our LEGO® model plans designed by engineers
and architects. Our LEGO® project kits motivate children by reinforcing STEM-
based principles while enhancing self-esteem, improving fine motor skills,
and teaching important classroom lessons such as organization and following
directions. Our LEGO® models are either kid-powered or fully motorized. We
will build vehicles, contraptions, inventions, animals, and much more.

YOUNG REMBRANDTS: CULINARY MISCHIEF
Our domestic critters are up to no good in this five-day multimedia workshop!
We’ll warm up with cartoon drawings and then use pastels to create amazing
“can’t-believe-I-drew-this” masterpieces. A mouse making soup, a dog eyeing
the spaghetti, and silly birds on cakes are some of the mischievously delicious
drawings students will create every day. You won’t believe the results from this
fun-for-all, skill-enhancing workshop. Please wear an old shirt or smock to class
each day.
