KINDERGARTEN DISCOVERY CAMP
Here’s a fun way for children entering kindergarten to learn about school in a
play-oriented environment. The activities will help students feel comfortable in
a new setting while being introduced to the routines of kindergarten. Children
will explore the classroom, meet new classmates, and interact with faculty.

SCRIBBLES AND WIGGLES
This camp will focus on strengthening the rising junior kindergartner’s fine and
gross motor skills, incorporating music, movement, and multisensory activities
using a variety of materials. This is a process-oriented class that will promote
essential school readiness skills including cutting, gluing, tracing shapes, and
much more. This camp is limited to eight campers.

LITTLE BOOKWORMS
Ready to read? The focus of this camp will be on learning language arts skills
specifically related to the process of reading—concepts of print, vocabulary,
and writing; associating letters with sounds; and blending letter sounds to form
words and sentences. Campers will explore rich literature and writing through
centers, individual and small group instruction, exploration of books, and play
to help with reading readiness.

LITTLE SCHOLARS: DINO DISCOVERY
Do you know which dinosaur was nicknamed “long neck?” Do you know which
dinosaur had the biggest head? Join us for a colossal journey into the world of
dinosaurs. Build a dinosaur replica and have an archeological dig just like a real
paleontologist. In Dino Discovery, you will have a swamp-stomping good time!
