VOLLEYBALL Open to all experience levels, this camp will focus on the basics of volleyball, including passing, setting, hitting, and serving. Instruction will include basic fundamental techniques and team building, and game play at the end of each day will give players a chance to put their new skills to use. Please bring a healthy snack and water bottle each day. Coach: Greg Young, Steward varsity volleyball coach Grades: 4 – 9 (players will be grouped according to age, size, and ability.) Date/Time: July 8 – 12; 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Cost: $185 Traditional Camps COMMUNITY SERVICE SAMPLER Part of being a good steward in the community is contributing to projects that help others. This week of service will include time spent with multiple organizations that make a significant impact on many lives. Each morning, the Steward bus will depart campus with a team of young volunteers and Steward faculty who will spend the day putting themselves to work in a meaningful way. Hours can be applied to school-required community service credit. Campers should bring bagged lunches from home, but snacks will be provided each day. Instructor: Wallace Inge, Steward faculty Grades: 8 – 11 Date/Time: July 29 – August 2; 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Cost: $400 DRIVER’S EDUCATION RVA Driving Academy instructors will guide soon-to-be drivers through the classroom portion of driver’s education for nine days in June. Students may choose to register for the classroom session only and/or behind-the-wheel instruction. The classroom curriculum will include the Virginia Department of Education certified 10-module Drivers Education curriculum. Attendance at all sessions is mandatory.
