TENNIS: SPARTAN FUTURE STARS
Join Steward’s tennis coach for this great sport. This camp is for players who
are experienced and have the desire to start playing in tournaments. Campers

compete. These players will have the opportunity to participate in an upcoming

VIRGINIA FISHING ADVENTURES FOR OLDER CAMPERS
This camp with Virginia Fishing Adventures offers campers the opportunity to
learn the basics of freshwater fishing. Virginia Fishing Adventures staff will drive
campers to private freshwater ponds and nearby rivers where campers will fish
for bass, bluegill, crappie, and catfish from jon boats and rafts. All campers will
wear lifejackets when in the water or on a boat, and the staff maintains a 1:5
counselor-to-camper ratio. Virginia Fishing Adventures provides all bait and

VIRGINIA OUTSIDE MOUNTAIN BIKING
Richmond has some of the best urban mountain biking trails around. Join our
staff of experienced riders for a week on the trails this summer. Campers will
develop beginner and intermediate mountain biking skills including: steering,
shifting, hill climbing and descending, log hopping, dodging obstacles, etiquette,
maintenance, safety, and more. Campers ride in the morning, have a midday
activity like tubing or snorkeling on the James River, then get back on the bikes
in the afternoon. Campers are placed in groups from beginner to advanced
intermediate, so they are riding with campers of the same ability. Virginia
Outside provides bikes and helmets, but campers are welcome to bring their own.
