inspirED Reader & Writer: Build a Better World
Children are our future. In this course,
students will be guided through
exploring a global issue, such as world
hunger, species extinction, or conflict.
They will read a variety of nonfiction
texts and use their burgeoning world
views to think critically about how they
could create change and impact the
world as the leaders of tomorrow.

Creative Writing: Painting with Words
If a picture tells a thousand words, can
a thousand words paint a picture? In
this course, students will study details
in mentor texts and illustrations to
bring out their imagination and to
enrich their writing using colorful
words and artistic techniques.

Public Speaking: Speak as an Expert
Have you ever thought about being a
TEDx speaker? Here is your chance to
stand up and share your knowledge. In
this course, students will do research
on a topic of their own choosing, write
a speech, and learn to deliver it like an
expert.
