LUCKY JOHN IMA
The IMA spoon-bait has the shape of a stretched rhombus with indent
surface. The main purpose of the lure is trout angling in surface layers
of water. Thanks to their shape, IMA spinners keep well the reeling horizon at minimum depth and, once stopped, quickly sink.
IMA spinners come in three sizes: 1.5, 1.8 and 2.1 g. 1.5 g lightweight
spinner is the most effective for trout angling in surface layers of the
water. Steady reeling will be the best type of reeling in case of such
angling. Trout often catches the lure just as it touches the water with
a splash. Therefore, before the lure enters the water, partial braking of
the fishing line must be performed – in such case the hook will position
itself behind the spinner and biting will be the most effective.
1.8 g spinners are good for “Lift&Fall” reeling. Such gradual reeling ensures the search of the fish within greater depth range.
2.1 g spinner is more universal and has the greatest casting range in
this series. At the same time, the deepest reeling can be performed with
it. It is highly convenient to search for trout with IMA spoon-bait, when
the fish is particularly active: during twilight, before the sunrise, at the
dawn, and immediately after casting the lure. The best results are usually achieved under these conditions.
IMA spinners are equipped with high-quality Japanese sports hooks and
