Entering grades 6-9 Nothing says adventure like Camp Tiyul ! Each week we embark on exciting excursions Monday-Thursday . On Fridays , Camp Tiyul enjoys special Shabbat programming with Chugim ( choices ), where campers will get to choose from a variety of activities . Camp Tiyul groups are split between 6 / 7 grades and 8 / 9 grades . Much of the camp programming is designed to engage campers in team work , making new friends and learning about taking care of ourselves and each other .
Campers in Tiyul get to enjoy their own state-of-the-art youth lounge as their home base . Enjoy billiards , darts , pinball , high-tech gaming , computer lab and more . Campers also participate in Mitzvah ( good deed ) projects that help to give back to the community .
Field Trips by the day :
· Mondays : Outside Adventures in and around Tucson
· Tuesdays : Community Service and visits to non-profit programs
· Wednesdays : Sports Related field trips
· Thursdays : Beyond Tucson ( Phoenix , Bisbee , etc .)
· Friday : Swimming , Chugim ( cooking , sports , arts , etc .) and Shabbat
