West Lancashire ' s Youth Council is a group of young people aged 13-19 who want to make things better in their community. They meet every Monday from 6.30 to 8:30pm at Point Six Young Peoples Centre, Yewdale, Skelmersdale.
They take part in projects to raise awareness and make changes to life for young people, including young people ' s rights, young people ' s health and meeting with adult decision makers. They also make decisions on how money is spent, go on trips and visit new places. This is your opportunity as a participant to voice your views on issues that are important to you and other young people and a chance for your voice to be heard. The group aims to find out what young people in West Lancashire think and feel and aim to get young people involved in influencing decisions, learn new skills, make new friends and HAVE FUN!
