Kol Hakavod, a newsletter celebrating the achievements of the AJR community, is published twice yearly( Summer and Winter editions). Alumni, students, and faculty are invited to send information about published articles and special programs, etc, including links where appropriate, to KolHaKavod @ ajr. edu.
As a pluralistic Jewish seminary training and ordaining rabbis and cantors as equal partners, the Academy for Jewish Religion( AJR) is a community of learners that cultivates insightful, creative, and caring Jewish leaders who are ready to meet the evolving needs of Klal Yisrael— the entire Jewish community. Accredited by the Association of Theological Schools, we educate future rabbis, cantors and communal leaders. Our students choose to attend AJR due to our pluralistic philosophy, our groundbreaking curriculum and our indvidualized attention to our student needs. They thrive because we provide the academic rigor they seek in addition to the flexibility necessary to fully realize their personal Jewish identity and become the clergy and leaders their communities need.
