Summer is an incredible season , filled with warm weather , sunshine , and boundless opportunities for community engagement . It ’ s a time to savor life ’ s simple pleasures , like leisurely strolls in the park , relaxing outdoors with loved ones , and attending lively community events . For many , summer represents an important chance to reconnect with family and create new memories . It is for these reasons that I am happy to introduce you to the 2024 Summer Recreation Brochure ! At the heart of our summer programming is the 2024 Summer Concert Series , our annual July 4th festivities , and the highly anticipated Sea Country Festival , these standout community events that foster a strong sense of unity , camaraderie , and fun for our residents . The 2024 Summer Concert Series boasts an incredible lineup of talented musicians spanning various genres , offering an evening of musical enjoyment in the park . So , grab your lawn chairs and blankets , and join us for an unforgettable experience under the stars . Celebrating our independence is no small feat so I hope you will join us on July 4th for a full day of activities , culminating in a spectacular fireworks display . Then , as summer draws to a close , we ’ ll cap off the season with our annual Sea Country Festival , featuring live music , carnival rides , food , and more . This year ’ s festival promises to be bigger and better than ever , with a wide range of activities and entertainment . Since the summer months often include various special occasions , such as graduations and weddings , I also want to remind you that the City provides many different options to host your special private event through our facility rental program . The Sea Country Senior and Community Center and the Crown Valley Community Center both offer ballrooms , meeting rooms , outdoor space , and kitchen facilities for use by the public . Both facilities are suitable for a wide variety of special occasions ! Additionally , the Amphitheater and the Valley Plaza at Crown Valley Park are two beautiful outdoor spaces that can be reserved for smaller , private events . I encourage you to visit our Facility Rentals webpage to view photos and learn more about the different spaces that are available to the public for rent . And if you have any questions , please contact our Rental Coordinators at rentals @ cityoflagunaniguel . org . They will ensure that your special event rental process with the City is an easy , efficient , and enjoyable experience .
As you can see , we are committed to providing many opportunities for our residents to engage and come together to celebrate as a community . Come spend the day with the City of Laguna Niguel ! Experience a full day of fun , FREE , activites for all ages !
Cool off with Free Lap & Rec Swim at the Laguna Niguel Aquatics Center !
The LNAC is hosting Free Swim day for the 4th of July ! Adult Lap swim runs from 9:00am-1:00pm and Rec Swim runs from 1:00pm-4:00pm .
Keep your eyes on the skies for a Patriotic Flyover !
Look up and enjoy a flyover from the Dawn Patrol Aerial Team at 5:30pm ! Acrobatic planes with smoke will fly in formation over Crown Valley Park creating designs in the sky . Don ’ t miss it !
Be sure to save your seat for the 4th of July Concert !
Hosted at Crown Valley Park ’ s Amphitheater , celebrate the 4th of July with the Suffragettes ! The concert starts at 6:00pm and finishes at 8:00pm . ( Chairs & blankets may be set out at 6:00am .)
End the day with our annual Fireworks Spectacular !
Fireworks begin promptly at 9:00pm at the Laguna Niguel
Regional Park . Walk the trail from Crown Valley Park to Laguna Niguel Regional Park to view the fireworks show . Don ’ t miss this beautiful display !
