Emily M . Ramage
Emily M . Ramage is the founder of the Ramage Geltel Law Firm in Williston . For the past six years , she has been an essential board member of the Williston Community Builders , which has been instrumental in the completion of numerous impactful projects , including an Interactive Freedom Memorial for veterans at the veteran cemetery ; an education fund that has awarded $ 200,000 in grant money to local educators ; the Williston Community Gardens ; food drives , community concerts , picnics , and events that foster community spirit ; the annual “ Festival of Trees ,” which raises funds for various causes each year ; the arts in Williston by supporting the James Memorial Art Center , Entertainment Inc ., Williston High School Drama , and more ; and fundraiser golf tournaments .
Additionally , Ramage has been a dedicated board member of the Pool Action Committee for the past three years . Under its guidance , the committee successfully raised $ 16 million to build an outdoor water park in Williston , set to open in 2025 . She is also an active member of the Upper Missouri Bar Association and the Women ’ s Lawyer Section . She is a past elected official for the Williston Public School District # 1 . Ramage ’ s commitment to the legal profession is further demonstrated through her ongoing pro bono work .
Honorable Michael P . Hurly
The Honorable Michael P . Hurly is a district court judge in the Northeast Judicial District , chambered in Rugby . Prior to joining the bench , he was engaged in private practice in Devils Lake as a partner in the Traynor Law Firm . Hurly has continuously volunteered his time and engaged in his communities throughout his career . Hurly stepped in to coach the Rugby High School speech team and One Act program when there was nobody else to help . He is heavily involved in the Little Flower Catholic Church where , among other things , he sits on the school board , teaches religion , and gives his time as a reader to the younger school children . Hurly has also served on the parish counsel for St . Joseph Church in Devils Lake .

Hurly serves on the charitable foundation board for the local hospital in Rugby , and has served on the Lake Region Board , which is a nonprofit corporation that assists individuals with developmental disabilities . He has served on the Village Arts Theater Board , Fort Totten Theater Board , and the Prairie Village Museum Board . In addition , he volunteered his time as an actor for various local productions . Hurly even donates his time to run the movie projector and concession stand for a nonprofit that operates Rugby ’ s movie theater . All of this , while also volunteering his time in various capacities to support the legal community through activity on various committees and boards .
