CT : Plus , as a part of HUB , MWIS will now have access to totally new products , services , and technology that enhance what MWIS has been doing all along and that will offer new opportunities to MWIS ’ existing and new clients .
Darren : Ingrid and I have discussed that we want to be very deliberate in determining what of HUB ’ s vast array of products and services will be best-suited to the needs of MWIS ’ clients . For example , HUB offers personal lines of insurance , health coverage , wealth management , 401 ( k ) options , and even HR services . One of Hub ’ s largest industry sectors is construction - including contractors , owners and developers - the ecosystem of MWIS ’ work . The MWIS representatives who have already been advising MWIS ’ clients will now have access to a whole team of professionals in these arenas , so as they are assessing their clients ’ needs , they can pull in experts to assist in providing a much larger range of options , solutions , expertise and resources .
Ingrid : In addition to what Darren mentioned , one of the initial HUB offerings that would clearly be useful for our clients is employee benefits , which MWIS did not offer . We already have clients inquiring about transferring their employee benefits to HUB . Also , our small business and non-profit clients often do not get access to what one might call more “ sophisticated ” products and services , such as wealth management and retirement options , so I ’ m excited that through HUB , not only will we be able to make these resources available to our client base , but we can also provide the advisory consultation and education in these financial services areas . This is certainly in alignment with generational wealth building .
By broadening MWIS ’ bandwidth , we ’ ll be able to offer tools for wealth generation that go beyond learning how to launch and run a successful business , into making wise investments , implementing beneficial tax strategies , and protecting one ’ s assets – resources that have not been previously accessible to underrepresented and disenfranchised communities and are a vital aspect of implementing true DEI . On top of this , our clients will be able to learn about these options in a supportive environment , from a team that is genuinely looking out for their best interests . I look forward to introducing our clients to HUB , because in every instance , I have felt respected and supported in my interactions with HUB team members and I am eager for our clients to have that same experience .
