We are constantly brainstorming, thinking about all parts of the spectrum, all ages, all stages, all wants, all needs and how we can best use our resources to meet demand. Thinking is one thing, acting on our ideas is another, and project completion is highly dependent on timing, funding, and
The University of Pittsburgh Autism Center of Excellence (ACE) has been a longtime support source, and now they have a new $11.5 million grant. We are very grateful for the invitation to be a Community Partner, and especially thankful for recent help from Dr. Carla Mazefsky, Dr. Kelly Battle Beck, and Dr. Caitlin Conner, all of whom have shared research studies, data, and new ideas to help us make best systems change in key community-based projects, and helping with our August 2 webinar Late Diagnosis of Autism. I'll be updating you soon on progress in other areas - for instance, we are talking with a local law school this week about producing new autism programming for attorneys in training, - so thanks for staying engaged as we all learn together.
