Joseph Quinn ‘ 00 and Giuliana de Grazia welcomed another daughter , Nina Wells , into the world on April 8 , 2022 .
Whitney Curtin ’ 04 and Luciana Rivera are engaged to be married . They met at Connecticut College and have been together since . The couple currently lives in Newport , RI .
Patrick L . Guerriero ’ 05 received his MBA last year from Cornell ’ s Johnson School of Management .
Andre Jabban ’ 05 shared a message of unity to our Class of 2022 during his alumni Chapel talk . An active member of our Alumni Council , he reminded our senior students that they share a unique bond at Saint David ’ s . “ Remain engaged with each other beyond your years here , always reach out and support one another ,” he shared .
After six years with IBM , Andrew Demas ’ 07 was promoted to partner in their Consulting Division . He is the youngest partner in the company ’ s history and is responsible for leading their digital experience team for the Telecommunications industry .
Henry McMillan ’ 09 is currently at UCLA pursuing his MBA .
Members of the Class of 2009 came to Saint David ’ s in the spring during the John Shanahan Memorial Award reception . The John Shanahan Memorial Award was established in recognition of the late John Shanahan - father of Michael ’ 09 and Joseph ’ 11 - whose dedication and inspirational leadership helped transform the Saint David ’ s hockey program to a successful varsity sport . This annual award is presented to the middle school hockey player who best demonstrates those personal attributes most closely associated with John : sportsmanship , teamwork , strength of character , and generosity of spirit . Zane Acord ’ 11 is a musician who regularly performs in Brooklyn and has embarked on a summer tour as lead vocalist and guitarist with his band 87 Nights , which was formed while he attended The College of Charleston . The band has opened for international acts such as Mo Lowda and the Humble . During the height of the pandemic , the sneaker company Vans bought one of his songs for a commercial . Zane is currently finishing work on his first record .
Jaime El Koury ’ 12 writes , “ After a rewarding year working in Dubai , UAE , I ’ ll be moving back to the US to begin law school at Harvard this fall . I am excited to continue working on international legal issues , especially as they relate to US sanctions and national security law . If any students , alumni , or members of the Saint David ’ s community find themselves in the Boston area , do not hesitate to reach out .”
Jack Kraus ’ 12 graduated from Army Flight School this past winter , qualifying on the AH64E Apache Helicopter . He moved to Fort Bragg , NC this spring where he serves as a pilot and platoon leader in the 82nd Airborne Division . Henry Tilghman ’ 12 is currently doing his residency at Mt . Sinai Hospital . He recently visited Saint David ’ s and got to catch up with his classmate , Coach Andrew Hahn ’ 12 , and former French teacher Gisele Rappaport .
