A congolese poet rapper (Moyi Mbourangon), a Burkina Faso story-teller (Maboudou Sanou), and a Japanese composer (Keiko Fujiie) join forces to produce a new opera based upon the letters between a son and his mother, and echoes Mbourangon's own story of exile.
