May 29-Sep 6 Regular Season for Boating . Launch Dock and Sand Ramp open and operational ( weather permitting )
Oct 15 End of Summer Storage Season ( except for boaters who chose to purchase the Annual Storage Season option
Season Passes ( includes tow vehicle parking )
Returning Boaters : Procedure for Securing Passes
Mar 15 beginning at 9am
• Beginning Mar 16 , go to pdhp . org . Input the appropriate launch activity code . ( New users to the website may be required to create a username & password .)
• After payment , your storage space will be reserved , pending verification of information provided and storage availability ( if applicable ).
New Boaters : Procedure for Securing Passes ( Season Launch Pass or Season Store & Launch Pass )
• Beginning Mar 30 , New Resident boaters may register online at pdhp . org .
• Beginning Apr 6 , New Non-Resident boaters may register online at pdhp . org .
• IMPORTANT : To COMPLETE the registration process , new boaters must contact Debbie Pierce at dpierce @ pdhp . org with proof of residency and proof of boat ownership documents . Returning boaters may continue to register online , but spaces are not guaranteed .
Getting Your Decals
Season Store and Launch Pass Decal
After registering in person or paying online , your storage decal and map and gate access code ( if applicable ) will be mailed to you .
Season Launch Pass Decal
For Returning Boaters who have purchased their passes online by May 15 , your launch decal will be mailed to you . For passes purchased after May 16 , either online or in person , please schedule an appointment with Debbie Pierce at dpierce @ pdhp . org to pick up your decal at the Recreation Center of Highland Park . Registrants must provide driver ’ s license , proof of ownership and printed email confirmation of registration to receive decal .
Season Parking Decal *
1 . For Returning Boaters who have purchased their passes online by May 15 , your parking decal will be mailed to you . For passes purchased online after May 16 , either online or in person , please schedule an appointment with Debbie Pierce at dpierce @ pdhp . org to pick up your decal at the Recreation Center of Highland Park . Registrants must provide driver ’ s license & printed email confirmation of registration .
2 . Starting May 1 , parking decals may also be purchased inperson at the Recreation Center of Highland Park . This excludes North Shore Yacht Club members who wish to receive the Non-resident discount . * Parking Decal is included with season storage .
Register In-Person
Applications are available online at pdhp . org to print and complete , and must be returned in person by making an appointment at Recreation Center of Highland Park with Debbie Pierce at dpierce @ pdhp . org . To receive resident rates , bring your drivers ’ license , along with one of the following documents ( displaying a Highland Park address ):
• 2020 Park District tax bill
• State of Illinois ID card
• Current automobile registration
• Copy of real estate contract
• Current US Coast Guard Auxiliary Vessel Safety Check
• Proof of vessel ownership * The Park District reserves the right to reject incomplete or illegible registration applications submitted either online or in-person .
