NORTH SHORE YACHT CLUB at Park Avenue Boating Facility Join the NSYC for boating and family fun on and off the water !*
• Equipment available for member use : sailboats , kayaks & stand up paddleboards
• Sailing and paddling lessons
• Weekly sailboat racing & annual regatta
• Casual sailing throughout the week
• Kayak classes , Full Moon Paddles and off-site outings
• Stand up paddleboard classes , group outings , and racing events
• Family activities - picnicking , beach cleanup , volunteer opportunities , and kid-friendly events !
• High School Sailing Club - Open to all high school students regardless of school or experience , August through October
• Beachfront clubhouse ( includes shower facilities , kitchen , outdoor grill , and fire pit for member use )
• An all-volunteer club with many ways to participate
• Open to residents and non-residents with reasonable membership dues
• Non-residents receive discounted season parking decal not combined with any other storage / launch / parking option

Fishermen
Due to spatial limitations , no one person may have more than two poles and one net while fishing at the Park Avenue Boating Facility . All fishermen who leave trailers after launching their boats must purchase a season launch decal .
PLEASE NOTE : All parking spaces are monitored by the Park District of Highland Park . All ticket disputes should be handled by emailing violations @ pdhp . org .
