COUNTY UPDATE II : DUBLIN TRANSIT CENTER PARKING GARAGE PROJECT

The $ 34 Million Dublin Transit Center Parking Garage Project seeks to develop a multi-level parking structure on a 2.4-acre County-owned property located next to the Dublin / Pleasanton BART Station . A partnership between Alameda County ’ s General Services Agency ( GSA ) and the Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority ( LAVTA ), the project is funded by the California State Transportation Agency ’ s ( CalSTA ) Transit & Intercity Rail Program ( TIRCP ), with additional funding sought by LAVTA and GSA . The purpose of the project is to design , build , operate and maintain an approximately 177,354 sq . ft . parking structure to provide about 570 new parking spaces on five different levels . Four prime contractors have been shortlisted from the Request for Qualifications stage and will soon submit proposals for the Design Build project .
