Morley Crowned Mrs. North Dakota 2019 Meg Morley of Grand Forks was recently crowned Mrs. North Dakota 2019. As Mrs. North Dakota America, she will make appearances throughout the state and will compete for the coveted Mrs. America crown in August. She will compete in interview, evening gown, swimsuit, on-stage question, and state costume competition. The national pageant will be held at the Westgate Casino & Resort in Las Vegas, where Morley will compete with 50 other state representatives. Morley and her husband, Michael, have been married for 16 years and have two sons. She graduated in 2003 from the University of North Dakota (UND) and, in 2011, graduated from the UND School of Law. She is an attorney and owns and operates Morley Legal Services Ltd. She is also employed by Youthworks of North Dakota as the Unit One supervisor and coordinator of the guardian ad litem program. Morley gives her time to many organizations including the Greater Grand Forks County Bar Association, Law Day, Holy Family Catholic Church Altar Society, SBAND, Volunteer Lawyer’s Program, Woman for Philanthropy, Women’s Fund, and Northlands Rescue Mission. In 2016, Morley was named one of North Dakota’s Top 25 Women in Business by “Prairie Business Magazine.” Her platform is the Adult Congenital Heart Association. It is a personal cause to Morley, as she has a congenital heart defect which required open heart surgery in 2017.
