Because of the complexity and expense, the Program cannot currently assist with mold remediation, but April would love to see that happen at some point.
The Healthy Homes Department recently connected with Alameda County’s Contractor Bonding Assistance Program (CBAP) at a County Job Fair, where staff from both Programs were conducting outreach to contractors. Since then, the Contractor Bonding Assistance Program has been encouraging contractors enrolled in the CBAP to also connect with the Healthy Homes Department.
