Coliseum Connections' 110-unit mixed-use, multifamily housing development opened its doors in early 2019, offering 55 below-market rate apartments to help meet the County’s affordable housing needs.

The A-1 Housing Bond's small business inclusion requirement means that prime contractors and developers whose projects receive A-1 Housing Bond funds are actively searching for local contractors across a variety of trades to participate in completing work on housing construction and renovation. Alameda County’s Contractor Bonding Assistance Program is helping to ensure that local contractors who want to participate in A-1 Housing Bond-related projects have access to individualized support to help prepare them for public works projects as well as qualify for the requisite bonding.
