Welcome to our 2019 Summer Newsletter. In this issue, you will learn about the Job Order Contracting opportunities with GSA, Alameda County's Healthy Homes Department, the A-1 Housing Bond and three successful Program Participants who have completed work in Alameda County.
We are excited to share with you some of our Program Participants’ success stories in Alameda County. The Alameda County Contractor Bonding Assistance Program (CBAP) is dedicated to engaging local contractors and connecting them with opportunities in Alameda County, all while helping them gain access to bonding and available resources. There is an abundance of construction underway in Alameda County. Our goal is to make sure small, and emerging Alameda County contractors are “in the know” and are prepared to successfully bid and complete this work. We encourage CBAP contractors and participants to broaden their knowledge about details and requirements for available and upcoming work and learn how other small contractors are building capacity and meaningfully participating in County construction work.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us for more information on how we can help you obtain or increase your bonding capacity, prequalify with prime contractors and developers, learn about the County’s upcoming work and make connections with agency officials and other small businesses.
