“Ten Artistic Impressions”,
Waterford VTOS, Art, Craft and Design Exhibition.
VTOS Waterford, final year Art, Craft and Design students showcased a selection of their artistic and craft endeavours. The exhibition was a culmination of pieces designed and created by the students over the two year duration of the QQI Level 5 Art Craft and Design course, run by Waterford VTOS, Durand’s Court, Parnell Street, Waterford as part of the WWETB.
There was be a diverse range on display from the students including Ceramics, Painting, Glass, Metalcraft, Jewellery, Mixed Media and Woodwork. The event was officially opened on Tuesday 10th April, at the Central Library, Lady Lane, Waterford City, by a representative of the Mayor’s Office and the exhibition ran until Thursday 12th April.
The exhibition, was a great success providing all who attended an opportunity to see some local creative talent and the great work being done locally by VTOS in the area of adult education. It attracted a lot of interest from potential learners with an interest in pursuing a career in Art, Craft or Design.
