Welcome to the summer edition of the City of Napa’s Recreation Guide. We are especially pleased to combine this issue with the State of the City annual publication. We have
a lot to share with you in this edition, including more than 70 new programs not previously offered. A few of those opportunities include Build Your Own Skateboard (page 7),
Introduction To Rugby Camp (page 20), Jr. Lifeguard (page 33), Adult Sand Volleyball League (page51) and Ukulele For Beginners (page59).
As you browse through our catalogue, you will find over 200 classes and programs available to you. If you haven’t participated in one of our programs before, I encourage you to
give us a try. If you are a returning participant, welcome back!

Summer is a time to celebrate all of the wonderful opportunities we have to experience the outdoors. From biking our Class 1 bike paths, to hiking our remote trails in
Westwood hills Park to introducing your K9 friend to neighbors and new friends at Alston Park, there truly is something for everyone in our park system. We are continuing to
make constant improvements to our facilities to enhance those experiences. Five new picnic pavilions have been added to Kennedy Park to ensure you have a great time with
friends and family at our most highly visited park. The three large pavilions are available on a first come first served basis when not reserved. We invite you to experience these
new facilities and let us know what you think!
