On Wednesday 22nd March, Micheal Moylan (Irish History Live) brought his history show to Enniscorthy Vocational College library. Students were given a whirlwind tour of European history, brought to life with real props from the eras including swords, guns and costumes. A very enjoyable and educational day was had by all.
The 5th Year Agricultural Science class from Enniscorthy Vocational College would like to extend a warm 'Thank You' to Thomas Rafter who kindly allowed them access to his sheep farm. The group learned about breeds, breeding strategy, management, feeding, housing, lambing, dosing etc. The weather was on their side and they were able to take in the paddocks, creep gates and purpose built handling facilities. The students enjoyed the visit immensely and Ms. Somers (Agricultural Science Teacher) was lucky she didn't end up bringing a pet lamb home!!
