Language Arts Boot Camp
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Get ready to pump up the rigor in your classroom! Come experience high
impact activities without doing the heavy lifting! This session features ways
to incorporate multiple TEKS into each lesson using project based learning,
reading/writing connections, as well as strategies to incorporate higher
level thinking questions into the literature you already use in the classroom.
Each participant will receive a grade-level specific resource book containing
all released STAAR question stems divided into categories. Added perks:
Wear your workout clothes, sample healthy snacks, door prizes, collaborate
with your colleagues to share tips and ideas, and leave with resources in
your hand you can use on day one in your classroom.
