the light AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL I I finally see the light at the end of the tunnel! (Check out some beautiful designer spaces on page 84) CHECK OUT OUR LATEST PAINT COLLECTION! No matter whether you DIY or hire professionals, a reno project can take a toll on you mentally and physically. (See Why You Should Consider an Addition on page 72) Things rarely go as planned! Along the way, there will always be minor adjustments, compromises and little surprises. I can’t stress enough the importance of a contingency budget as you never know what lurks behind the shadows of a renovation project. They say that a reno or building of a house will test a marriage. (See How to Paint Vinyl Siding on page 70) Did I mention you’ll also have adventures along the way? So she went almost a month without kitchen cabinets. ..a counter top...or a kitchen sink. In hindsight, there is something to be said about moving out during a major reno!
