What do you think is the most important benefit of
using a professional stager?
A professional stager does much more than just decorate
your home, we market your home to ensure top dollar in the
shortest amount of time. We use proven methods to enhance
the home’s best features. We understand what potential
buyers of all ages are looking for in a home. We know the
statistics and where you’ll get the best return on each dollar
you invest to sell your home.
When viewing a home, what rooms will have the
biggest impact on a potential buyer’s decision?
The entire home should look its very best but the living room,
kitchen and master bedroom will have the most emotional
impact followed by the dining room and bathroom.
What are three key things homeowners will be looking
for in a kitchen?
Potential buyers are looking for ample storage, functionality
suited to their lifestyles and low maintenance requirements.
A kitchen renovation will often offer the best return on
investment when selling. If you can’t afford a full renovation,
consider changing the counter tops, painting the cabinets
and updating the hardware. If your kitchen lacks lighting, add
under cabinet lighting to brighten up the space.
How would you describe your personal design style?
With a great selection of furniture, artwork and accessories
at my disposal, I work with many different home styles and
demographics. When it comes to my personal space, I love
clean lines, mid-century modern furniture, rustic woods and gold
accents.

Generally the main floor, master bedroom and ensuite have
the biggest impact in a potential buyer’s decision. People
are looking for a space that fits the lifestyle they envision and
potential buyer’s need to be able to visualize themselves in the
home.
What are some key features that will make the biggest
impact on the main floor?
Today’s buyers are looking for open concept kitchens
overlooking the great room or living room as people tend to
spend most of their time in these spaces. Some key features
include a large quartz or marble counter top, layered lighting,
and neutral paint colours. Grey and blue paint colours are very
much on trend right now.
