In 2011, she was honored with the Margaret Brent Women Lawyers of Achievement Award by the ABA Commission on Women in the Profession. Brown, who served as president of the National Bar Association( NBA) from 1993-1994, received the NBA’ s highest honor, The C. Francis Stradford Award, in 2015.
