The Rev . Katherine Glaze Lyle Katherine Glaze Lyle is a retired elder in the North Texas Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church in which she served churches of varying size and congregational composition . Since retirement , she has continued to serve as an interim pastor in the area . She is active in the philanthropic community in Dallas as well as in community service including being a member of the board of directors and immediate past-chair for Partners for Sacred Places and several other groups .
Dr . Elizabeth Lynn Elizabeth Lynn has founded and led several programs designed to expand moral imagination for civic engagement , including the Center for Civic Reflection , and has contributed to contemporary understandings of philanthropy and the humanities in American life through her writings and creative leadership . She holds a PhD in Religion and Literature from the University of Chicago . Elizabeth is currently leading a set of special projects for Lake Institute on Faith & Giving , focused on deepening conversation about the changing landscape of faith , philanthropy , and community . She also co-authors a weekly blog , Digging a Deeper Well , for the Ministry Collaborative .
Dr . Yusuf Ransome Dr . Yusuf Ransome is an Associate Professor of Public Health ( in Social and Behavioral Sciences ) at Yale University . He received his MPH at University of Michigan , DrPH at Columbia University , and completed an Alonzo Smythe Yerby Fellowship at Harvard University . Dr . Ransome ’ s research investigates how social capital , social connectedness , religion and spirituality influence health and socioeconomic inequalities , with a particular focus on the diaspora . Dr . Ransome is funded by the John Templeton Foundation to study trends and patterns of church closings across the United States and the implications that these closings have on population health . Dr . Ransome was lead author of research that documented patterns of high rates of churches closing
in predominantly Black neighborhoods in NYC and discussed implications for public health .
Bishop Daniel Edward Thomas Bishop Daniel Thomas is a native Philadelphian and received his seminary education at St . Charles Borromeo Seminary . After being ordained in 1985 , he served a parish in Aston , PA . He then went to Rome , where he received a further degree in theology and then served for 15 years as an official in the Roman Curia . Upon returning to Philadelphia in 2005 , he served another parish before becoming the Auxiliary Bishop of Philadelphia . In 2014 , Pope Francis appointed him as Bishop of Toledo , where he has continued to serve
The Rev . Bryce Wandrey The Rev . Bryce Wandrey has served as an ordained minister since 2003 . He joined the Church of England in 2007 and was priest at two parishes in Highgate , London for nine years . While in Charleston , SC ( 2017-2022 ) he served as Canon Missioner at Grace Church Cathedral . He is now Rector of Christ Church , Reading , PA .
Pamela Wheat Pamela Wheat has been a congregant of Christ Church Reading for more than 10 years . Her background includes a long career in museum education , executivelevel nonprofit management and educational administration in the community college and University sectors . She has extensive experience in fund development and grants management with a strong record for securing private , state , and federal funding . Now retired , she uses her skills for the benefit of Christ Church where she has successfully raised more than $ 300,000 in grant funds for historic preservation and improving life safety and security .
Rick Wolf Rick Wolf served as Senior Warden of Christ Episcopal Church from 2019 to 2024 and as the ecclesiastical leader of Christ Episcopal Church during the recent search for the new Rector . He is a retired school administrator , having last served the Governor Mifflin School District as Assistant Superintendent . During his 37 years in the district , he was involved in several construction projects and guided the development of the district ’ s Comprehensive Planning Projects on three different occasions , each of which addressed emergency management .
