THE EDUCATIONAL AND SYNERGETIC ROLE OF NFGR
Defra MODEL 4E
The action of the NF is characterized as " a project aiming to inform, raise awareness and disseminate ", in accordance with the categorization of LIFE programs, and focuses on the information and practices of the Civil Society on issues of environment and quality of life. To change behaviors, perceptions and encourage the citizens to participate in public life, to protect the natural and urban environment, NF plan their actions based on the Defra MODEL 4E issued by the " Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs of the United Kingdom. The Defra 4E model is based on four policies to engage citizens in public affairs and in particular the protection of the environment: Enable Engage Encourage Exemplify.
