Even though you may not be a makeup lover, a good skin care routine will be a plus to keep your skin looking youthful vibrant and ready to face each day. The right routine starts with knowing what kind of skin you have. Then you'll know how to take care of it.

- Dry skin is flaky, scaly, or rough.

- Oily skin is shiny, greasy, and may have big pores.

- Combination skin is dry in some spots (cheeks) and oily in others (forehead, nose, and chin).

- Sensitive skin may sting, burn, or itch after you use some makeup or other products.

- Normal skin is balanced, clear, and not sensitive.

There are five necessities needed to accomplish this:

1. Face wash – for daily cleansing morning and night. Apply to finger tips and message into skin in an anti clockwise direction all over face and rinse with warm water.

2. Facial scrub – for use twice per week but if your wear makeup daily up to three times per week in the same as with the face wash not forgetting your neck area.

3. A mask – for twice a week both sheet and or clay mask depending on your skin needs. Use depending on directions on product

4. A moisturizer – this is a must have for application twice daily. Also a moisturizer with sunscreen is recommended if you don’t wear makeup or in constant direct sunlight.

5. A serum/ eye cream – use nightly to replenish skin and combat fine lines and wrinkles.

Ps. If you are a makeup wearer daily, remember to never fall asleep with makeup on. Use a makeup remover or baby oil on cotton pads before starting your routine for bed time. Also diet, sleep and exercise play a very major part in healthy radiant skin.
