Dialogue Platform on Humanitarian Anticipatory Action was held from October 10-12 in Berlin, Germany, with the theme "People at the Center".

The event was organized by the Anticipation Hub in collaboration with FAO, the World Food Programme (WFP), Start Network and the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA); with the financial support of the Ministry of Foreign

Affairs of Germany.

The agenda included sessions to promote the collaboration between the Anticipatory Action community of practice and global initiatives such as the Global Climate Risk Shield, the Grand Bargain and the Global Forum for Understanding Risk.

Five participants represented the Anticipatory Action initiatives led by their National Societies in the Americas: Lina Dorado (Colombian Red Cross), Diana Muñoz (Honduran Red Cross), Tomás Sarkis (Argentine Red Cross) and Jean Paul Reinberg (Chilean Red Cross).
