FbF exposed the overview of Early Actions in Latin America in the 8th Global Dialogue Platform
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 8th Global Dialogue Platform, usually held in Berlin, Germany, was developed virtually from December 8-10, with the participation of anticipatory humanitarian actors worldwide.
A wide range of diverse and interactive events were organized around the theme "Collaborating for Climate, COVID-19 and Conflict: Getting Ahead of Crises with Anticipatory Action".
The FbF LAC Regional Program participated in the Global Platform's agenda through three thematic sessions: "Anticipatory Actions in Latin America and the Caribbean: Overview of Trends in the Region"; "Academic Collaboration between the Costa Rican Red Cross and the University of Costa Rica (UCR) for Tropical Cyclone Preparedness"; "Lessons Learned on the Activation of the Ecuadorian Red Cross Early Action Plan".
