As part of the humanitarian assistance, more than a thousand ecuadorian families received health kits, livelihood kits and cash
Families also received tarpaulins to protect their livestock and food provisions from ash.
In addition, the Red Cross distributed cash ($200) to vulnerable families located in areas where there was ash fall of more than 10 mm, to allow them to evacuate along with their livestock.
