Tiphanie Smith-McLynch is the pioneer of this authentically organic self-care brand . She is a mother , an entrepreneur and a full-time employee at a pharmaceutical company . Her self-care line has grown tremendously since it came onto the market in 2019 .

How Do You Balance Being an Entrepreneur With a Full-time Job ?
It was a struggle initially . I spent many late nights developing products and conducting research . However , I found that time management was key . I dedicated time slots to specific tasks ; it ’ s imperative to write what you are going to do and follow-through .
Why Name the Business Self-Care at Tiphanie ’ s ?
It was a desire to help people feel good about themselves and comfortable within their skin . In addition , my son had eczema and the products on the market didn ’ t help him . I came up with the whipped moringa butter , which was my first product , after doing my own research . I tried it on my son and gave out a few samples . Tracking the product ’ s success gave me the push to start my business .
What ’ s the Most Important Thing You Learned About Self-Care ?
The most important thing I learned is that self- care isn ’ t selfish . You have to first take care of yourself before you ’ re able to take care of anyone else . This is our motto at Self-Care at Tiphanie ’ s . We can ’ t serve from a good place without first taking care of ourselves .
What Was the First Year of Business Like ?
My moringa oil supplier suddenly reported that they were no longer able to supply me . That roadblock helped me to pivot into purchasing my own oil machine . I never felt like giving up because this business is something I ’ m really passionate about . Despite the challenges , I prayed to God and he got me through .
