Brian Clarke, cofounder of Fort Spring Farms, is arguably someone who has been gi�ed with an entrepreneurial mind. His entrepreneurial journey began when he was about twelve years old and preparing to start first form at Manchester High School. It was the beginning of summer and all he had was $2,000. He knew that he would need about $9,000 by the end of summer but only one ques�on was ringing in his mind, “How would he turnover $2,000 to reach his $9,000 goal?”.That’s when he no�ced a business opportunity within his family. His parents, sister and people in his community used phone cards a lot. Why not use that $2,000 to buy some phone cards at a wholesale price and sell them for profit? He followed this path and ended up with $12,000 by the end of summer - $4,000 more than he had planned. It is, therefore, not surprising that Brian and a team of six other like- minded businessmen partnered to launch the rebranded version of Issue �: January ���� Brian’s parents’ beloved Fort Spring Farms in May 2018. Convenient because we deliver the best quality produce. This tends to dis�nguish us from our compe�tors. How do you handle the competition in the marketplace? The truth is that there are other companies that offer the same Why Fort Spring Farms? Farming has been my parents’ bread and bu�er for as long as I can remember. While I was overseas for job-related training, I put pen to paper and came up with an idea to be�er market their produce to the modern client. This revamped approach had to focus on convenience and quality and meant that I had to find a strong team of partners who would make this vision a reality. ��
