FROM THE

Entrepreneurship has a yin-yang feel. There is a lot of love and light to give when everything is going well for the business. However, we often
ignore the dark side that we must consistently endure to let the business thrive.
There are entrepreneurs who have been alone in the battlefield for far too long. We have created this issue specifically for you to let you know
that you are not alone. The battles you face may threaten your mental, physical and emotional wellbeing but Kristina has written an article to
help you get through the muck.
On the flip side, you may be a reader who is considering entrepreneurship but you may not be sure of your capabilities. Felicia has written an
article describing the soft skills that you should develop if you are serious about entrepreneurship. The quicker you develop these skills, the more
likely it is that your business will succeed.
Camile has written an article describing some important tips for filing business taxes in Jamaica. Whether you are a freelancer, novice
entrepreneur or established business owner, filing taxes is critical. Do not let the deadline for filing taxes pass without taking the necessary steps
to ensure that these taxes are filed on time.
Finally, we highlight 3 successful entrepreneurs who share how they have overcome the dark side of entrepreneurship. Their businesses are still
growing, but their stories provide an invaluable learning experience for new and existing entrepreneurs.
Happy reading!
