feel unmotivated, it’s great to have a fellow
entrepreneur in your corner with whom you
can share your feelings, or bounce ideas off.
Lack of motivation can be linked to an
unlikely emotion – fear. We find it easier to
avoid taking certain actions, because of fear
of failure. It might be time to launch a new
product or to enter a new market but for
some reason we can’t seem to find the
motivation to get the ball rolling. In times like
these it is important to remember that
nothing tried, nothing gained. Making
progress is not always a linear journey, and as
an entrepreneur we must be prepared to take
calculated risks. It is impossible to grow
successfully without trying new things, thus
increasing the importance of addressing
whatever underlying fears might be hindering
our motivation. If at first you don’t succeed,
try, try, try again because time waits for no
man, and you reap what you sow.
At the end of the day, keeping motivated is a
choice. It is about fostering an attitude of
relentlessness, combatting your fears, finding
inspiration, seeking encouragement, and
respecting what your body needs physically
and mentally. While some advice can be

gained."

test of time and transcend generations.

sayings our mothers, grandmothers and
teachers shared with us over the years might

when it comes to keeping motivated. A cliché
is a cliché for a reason. Remember, through
perseverance the snail made it to the ark.
