Success is a matter of perspective. Material wealth paints a picture of unlimited satisfaction to the world. What happens behind closed doors, in the depths of your heart, has greater meaning. A balanced perspective on success is holistic. It’s about achieving contentment in your mind, body, soul and spirit. It is with this in mind that I present what I believe are the 5 success habits.
1
Purity of Thought
Successful people have no room for negativity. They understand their emotions, can self-regulate, and appropriately redirect their thoughts even when angry. Hostility and conflict are heavily promoted by society. A successful person is at peace with himself or herself to the extent that only pure light emanates despite the surrounding negativity.
The person I’ve described may seem unrealistic, the epitome of perfection. If you pause to think about it, however, you’ll realize that this person lies within each of us. We don’t have to allow society and our experiences to taint us. If you want success, you must embrace positive thoughts and live by them.
