Opportunities abound for Jamaican entrepreneurs to showcase their products . How many of these entrepreneurs are capitalising on the opportunity ? This magazine issue features the inaugural Rise and Shine Jamaica Expo that provided a platform for Jamaican small business owners to network and showcase their products . This event highlights the importance of Jamaicans being willing to invest in their personal growth and the development of their brands .
We also discuss the concept of convenience and the need for Jamaican businesses to adapt to meet the continuously evolving needs of consumers . Two of the five entrepreneurs featured in this issue have created ecommerce stores which bring convenience to the fore . The three remaining entrepreneurs offer convenience in other ways . Their stories highlight the importance of creating the best customer experience possible and making local products more accessible .
