Deactivating the Vehicle Dynamics Control system facilitates the following operations:
- a standing start on a steeply sloping road with a slippery surface
- extrication of the vehicle when its wheels are stuck in mud or deep snow
Deactivation should not be used except when absolutely necessary.
Please refer to the Owner’s Manual as to when Vehicle Dynamics Control should be
deactivated.
