VEHICLE DYNAMICS CONTROL SYSTEM
Standard on every Subaru, the Vehicle Dynamics
Control† system monitors and analyzes if the vehicle is
following the driver’s intended course via an array of
smart sensors. If the vehicle approaches the limits of
stability, the AWD torque distribution*, engine output
and brakes at each wheel adjust automatically to assist
in keeping the vehicle on course.
†The Subaru Vehicle Dynamics Control system may also be known as
Electronic Stability Control.

Ideal cornering
To avoid danger, you have to see it coming first – so every
Subaru is designed to help the driver maintain maximum
awareness of their surroundings. The intelligent design of
each model features a generous glass area, large side mirrors
and thin, strategically placed pillars to minimize obstruction
and maximize active safety. Certain models are also available
with a rear-view camera to boost visibility even further.
Top Safety Pick ratings based on Insurance Institute for Highway Safety’s (IIHS) 40-mph frontal crash test, 31-mph side-impact test,
20-mph rear-impact test, and roof-strength test. For more information, contact IIHS or visit their website at www.iihs.org.
